After updating Mcafee, my computer came up with the "Windows File Protection"
box, It said: Files that are required for windows to run propoerly have been
replaced by unrecognized versions. To maintain system stability windows must
restore the original version of these files. Insert your windows xp pro
cd-rom now. Then the options are: retry, more information or cancel.
I put the cd in and it doesn't pull auto from it. I have to click on
install windows xp and the it tells me "the version your wanting to install
is older than the one currently on your system (because of the SP2).
Mcafee said it was probably corupt, so they had me uninstall and reinstall
Mcafee. That didn't help at all.
Any help with this would be appreciatled.
