Since formating my PC and reinstalling I am no longer able to access one hdd

I keep getting error about not having permissions set to be able to access it

all permissions are set to administrator which I am, no other accounts are set

I have tryed deleting all permissions and reset again still no luck. I can access the drive however no programs are executable

can anyone help need to install software and firewalls etc getting a little peeved now!

Ok tryed it in safemode. It did get a little better, however still lots of programs I am unable to access due to a permissions problem. Starting to get a little pished off now!

Programs I can access all have the old DOS screen icon attached to them.
Most folders look normal but i'm still unable to enter them. Including zipped or rar'd folders or exe's

file sharing aint even an issue mate.

the drive was fine before i reinstalled windows and was just a simple ntfs backup drive storing utilities and backup docs and wot not it was never shared with any other system or network

now some files are accessable others are not. i dont understand if its rewritten all permissions how certain files cannot be accessable by the same user...the administrator.. me!

it seems to be picking random files i can access every time i reset the options!
