Windows File Checker

I ran Windows File Checker using the sfc /scannow, how ever each time I boot
up it wants to run it again. I've let it run a few times, but it still comes
up each time. Can someone tell me how to stop this problem?
Windows XP Home edition with SP2

Enter sfc /revert. Reboot and see what happens.
