I use the fax program that came with Windows XP Home. Sending a fax is no
problem. Receiving a fax manually is not a problem either, but I can't
receive faxes automatically. I have checked the configuration, they seem OK.
Can somebody help please?

regards.

Perhaps, if you told us what the problem was. Works fine here. Does that
help?

No, that doesn't help. For instance, if I set 5 as the number of rings before
it receives a fax automatically, the phone keeps ringing well past 5 rings
without receiving the fax, but I can receive it manually after that or (at
any time).

My point, of course, was that you needed to post some actual information.
You've posted none so far.

I don't know what information you are looking for. There is no point wasting
any more time on this. Let's stop the discussion.

If you don't post a detailed description of your configuration settings, the
precise steps you are using, and what exactly happens when you try, we
cannot help.
