I want help about undo action in windows explorer.
If I have used the undo toolbar button how I can redo?
I´m asking this because i have lost my job using the undo button in windows
explorer and I don´t know what I can do.

Hi,

Certain undo's are permanent, nothing you can do about it.

Okay, I have to ask. Aren't all undo's permanent? And wouldn't the OP be
able to Redo IF he knew what he undid? If he reboots will he be able to
undo anything?

Hi,

No, not all undo's are permanent, some programs support redo. A lot depends
on what the user is doing. Rebooting would not help.

Undo is a program feature and uses an undo buffer that is available during a
session running the program. If you exit the program you will lose all the
undo's for that session.

There are other features some programs have, such as 'autosave' which can
recover an earlier version of a file even if you have closed the program
already.

XP Pro offers Volume Shadow Copy Service which does the same thing except
the autosaves are saved on a server.
