Have had XP pro since it came out and it has always bugged me that when I
open windows explorer the documents folder is always open or threaded
open....I hate this cause number one I don't use the documents folder at all
never have, have even deleted the ****er numerous times but still keep on
coming back.....
Question one how do I get rid of the damn folder once and for all....and if
that's not possible how do I get it to stay closed.....and possibly have one
of my hardrives be open for me automatically....IE an external hd...
I tried going into folder options, view and click apply to all
folders....but to no avail....I do have tweak ui and have set MY COMPUTER to
be first in the list then the documents folder, if that help you out....
Thanks in Advance..

Find Windows Explorer.exe - should be in your Windows, or WinNT file off
your boot up hard drive. I keep a shortcut icon on the desktop. Anyway find
Explorer.exe and right click to get Properties then open Properties. In the
Target line put C:\WINNT\explorer.exe /e,C:\ - where C; is your boot from
hard drive, WINNT is your Windows folder and the second C: is where you want
to go. If you want to go somewhere else, like an external attached drive,
put that letter here. Note that there is a space after exe and that the
symbol after e is a comma. Denzil
