When I type Rollback into the Search box in Help and
Support, I get a reference to: Use Windows Installer
packages with Windows Explorer. When I click on the
reference I find: To use Windows Installer packages with
Windows Explorer 1. Open Windows Explorer. 2. Right-
click the Windows Installer package (.msi file), and then
click Install, Repair, or Uninstall. How do I find the
Windows Installer Package in Explorer to right-click?
Thank you, Robert

All installed programs come with an installer file. What exactly are you trying to do. What program are you trying to install\repair\uninstall. If you insist on finding all the msi files on your system then go>start\search\all files and folders and type in .msi. Be prepared to spend a long time finding the exact .msi for the program you want to install\repair\uninstall as most of the .msi files are number coded. I have only about 20G of files and programs and I have 60 .msi files and out of those 29 are number\letter combinations, 21 are letter combinations and only about 10 are obvious as to which program they install\repair\uninstall. Good luck {:~)

Thanks for your prompt reply. I am only trying to follow
the directions in Help as a learning exercise.
The Help directions state, in part: "Right-
click the Windows Installer package (.msi file), and then
click Install, Repair, or Uninstall." I read this as
meaning the Windows Installer Package and not the
installer file for a particular program. It is difficult
to believe that the Help directions were referring to
the exercise you set forth and that Help was saying look
at all the .msi files in order to find the installer file
for the particular program and then right-click that file?
But, I have no alternative other than to accept your
advice. Original Message-----
