How can I set the defualt view in Windows Explorer?
I am working in it all the time, and need/like the Details view.
Most folders do seem to remeber... But I am all over the network in many
new folders and sub folders day in and day out.
Thanks

Delete the Registry keys
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Bags and
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\BagMRU, both with
all the subentries, then create new keys "BagMRU" and "Bags" here. At
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ShellNoRoam create a new
DWORD entry
BagMRU Size
and set this to
5000 (decimal)
Restart the computer.
All folder layouts will be lost, so make your settings for one folder,
then go to Tools > Folder Options > View and press the "Apply to all
Folders" button afterwards.

After setting the current Windows Explorer view to Details, click Tools |
Folder Options | View | Apply to all folders.
