Is there some way to default windows explorer to open in a specific
subdirectory?

Thanks in advance!

right click on the Explorer shortcut.
select properties.
in the box marked TARGET.
copy/paste this data after putting a SPACE in at the end of the data that is there.
/n,/e,c:\
the C:\ will cause it to open to the ROOT of C drive.
to change it to a specific folder, add that path at the "\" as normal.

this is what mine looks like for example.
%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /n,/e,c:\

pay particular attention to the SPACEs.

I posted this here because I could not find a windows explorer and hoped
to get a response. I did. Thanks!
