In WinExplorer, in the folder pane, how does one ensure that if a second

collaspe?

Thanks.

Open Control Panel -> Folder Options.
Click on the View tab.
Put a check mark in the box next to "Display simple folder view in Explorer's
Folders list".
Click OK.

Interestingly, "simple folder view" seems to apply only when clicking
on folder *names*. If I use the little plus sign to expand a folder,
then click on a different folder (name or plus sign), the first one
remains expanded. I think that's a convenience for moving or copying
files to different places in the folder tree.
