When Windows Explorer opens, the tree is open to; C:\Documents and
Settings\xxxx\Start Menu. I want it to open to my computer or at least just
the C:\. I have tried the folder options and can't seem to get it to open any
other way.

I suggest creating a 'new shortcut' to Windows Explorer on the Desktop
and enter the command line(s) described in the article for the "command
line" for the shortcut.
