I want to change the default startup location of Windows
Explorer. I know that I can change it under start ->
programs -> accessories then right mouse on windows
explorer and chose properties. However this does not
change it when you right mouse on start and choose explore
there. Does anyone know how to change it at that location?

location?

You have to specify that in the shortcut that opens explorer.exe.
The command'll be something like this:
%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe <default path>
Thanks, I realize that, but where is the file that I need
to change for this one. The others can all be found be
searching for the shortcut. But this one (right mouse
start, chose explore) has no shortcut.

When you right-click on Start and choose Explore....you are neither
clicking on a shortcut nor an application, it is part of the shell. Thus,
you will not be able to change it's properties.

Hi, I think I need to rephrase my question:
In Windows Explorer, when I select the drive on the left pane, it shows the
directories of that drive on the right pane, how do I set it to show the
disk usage/free of this drive (in graph mode) on the left part of the right
pane ?
