Windows Explorer is not working properly on my computer. When I attempt to
drill down into folders the program crashes. I believe that a file may have
been corrupted or erased. Is there a way to install just the files necessary
to get Windows Explorer working?

Yes,

Do a SFC /SCANNOW at the RUN prompt and have the Windows 2000 CD inserted
into your CD drive.

This will do a check of your system files and replace any that have been
corrupted or changed in error.
