Windows Explorer window (folder) size

Hi, I have a problem with Windows Explorer folder windows size. This
has *nothing* to do with Internet Explorer.

When I open a new folder, it always opens up in a ridiculously huge
size, like 800x600. I can manually resize it and, as far as I can
tell, windows will remember the new size, but it is really irritating
to have this happen every time I open a new folder. Resizing all of my
folders manually is not an option; is there a way to reset this
default window size?

open a folder goto tools/folder options/view/apply to all folders
let me know if this helps

Kelly,
Thanks for your reply! That option doesn't actually help. I forgot
to mention I am using Windows XP Pro. I seem to remember seeing an
option *somewhere* early on concerning the initial size of windows,
but I can't find where it is anymore. I also remember reading
somewhere that the "Apply to all" option in tools -> folder options
does nothing in regard to the view size.
