Windows Explorer - WIN2K Server

Cannot view folders' propertise in Windows Explorer on
WIN2K Server. No response when clicking [Propertise] in
the File menu. However I can view the file propertise in
any folder. Verified that default permissions are set,
which should allow normal viewing of folders' propertise.
What else could be possibly wrong? Thanks for your help
in advance.

P.S.
Second file server have no problems when viewing folder or
file propertise.
 
I have an identical problem with a win2K installation (a
regular computer, not a server)and would sure like to know
the solution. I cannot view the properties of any of the
disk or CD drives but can see the properties of all
folders on the drives.
