Hello,
This is what happens:
When I open Windows Explorer, it expands my C: drive
automatically. I would like to know what I can so it'll
not expand when I first open WE. And I know you can do
something because I read it some time ago, but now I
can't find it.
I'm running Windows XP Home Edition.

Thanks,
JDL

Right click the shortcut that you use to open WE and select
Properties/Shortcut Tab. In the Target line, copy/paste the following:

%systemroot%\\explorer.exe /e,

Hello,
First of all, thank you. I did it, and it worked. But
there's one thing:
I usually open WE from doing right-click on Start, and
then selecting Explore. And when I tried to right-click
on Explore, it just opened WE. And what I did was that I
put %systemroot%\\explorer.exe /e, in the WE shortcut
from the Accessories menu. So, when I opened WE from the
Accessories menu, it worked. But when I open it by right-
clicking the Start button, it doesn't work.
How could I make that one to work?

Thank you again,
JDL

When you right click the Start Button and select Explore, you are asking to
open WE in the Start Menu folder. This is the folder that contains all of
the shortcuts for the items on the Start Button menu. This is handy when you
want to customize this list.
