Hi,
I recently reached a near-full HD episode in my XP and things became
terribly slow.
Besides freeing 3/4s of the space, I've defragmented it, scandisk-ed it
(find & fix errors auto), run full virus/spyware checks (with AVG &
SUPERAntiSpyware) and also cleaned everything with disk cleanup, plus cleaned
the registry (with EasyCleaner & Advanced SystemCare).., and switched to a
less slick appearance.
The PC relatively recovered some speed but windows explorer takes its time
loading any folder type - not just image/videos folders - even txt files-only
folders.
Does anyone have any idea what this twit PC still wants from me? )
It's really annoying to wait every single folder you open to not load
normally. I've searched the net for an answer but only find silly unsolving
tips like turning off thumbnail cache, which makes no difference whatsoever
ever ever.
THanks 4 hearing me out.
