Windows Explorer shows duplicate DVD drives

Hello all. I have a CD-RW drive and a DVD drive, but in Windows Explorer it
shows that I have a CD-RW drive and two DVD drives. How do I get rid of the
extra one?

Hello,

Do you have any dvd-rom emulators installed? Examples are
- Daemon Tools
- Alcohol 120%
- Virtual cd
- Power ISO

If so, that is the emulated drive you are seeing as a DVD Drive.

I have Daemon Tools! I've never used it, though. I don't even know what it
does! This is my work computer, so the person before me must've used it for
something.

Hello,

Daemon Tools is usually used to bypass game protections and to play games
without the CD.

Other uses is to mount a CD image.
