Windows explorer several problems

is there an update or something to windows explorer.

It constantly locks up.
when deleting an folder if there are lower folders even though they are
empty, it refuses to delete the folder.

I wish vista explorer was like the windows explorer in XP. The XP version
worked.

Add "Take Ownership" to right-click menu in Vista
