Windows Explorer restart settings.

1. I would like Windows Explorer to re-open with the same file folder
situation in both the right and left hand windows as when I shut it
down.

I do a normal laptop down for travel, and upon rebooting and starting
Windows Explorer, I'm faced with the same "My Documerns, My Computer, My
Network" that came the first day it was turned on. I then have to
drill down to whereever I was at the time of shutdown.

Most modern software will remember where you were at close down, and
restart at the same place. How do I get Windows Explorer to do this?

2. Does this newsgroup have an archival webpage somewhere? I'd
gladly visit and search it, rather than re-asking a question that must
have been answered before.

Thanks in advance

Wade
