I hope I can find help here, so far nothing else has
worked. I am having a problem with windows explorer. It
often quits then restarts and I lose most of the programs
I have running in my system tray. I can't restart any of
the apps that were running in the tray until I reboot the
computer. I am running XP home on a 2 computer home
network. It seems like this may have started about the
time I installed SP 1. Thanks. Greg

When windows explorer closes, it doesn't really close all
the program out. It's still running in the background, you
just can't see it, that is why you can't run the program
again. Try holding CTRL+ALT+DELETE when it happen again
and see if the program is still running, if so end the
process and you can run the program again without
restarting.
