Windows Explorer question

Ok...ran into a problem I can't figure out.

When I open Windows Explorer, it appears in two windows
(default, which is fine with me). Left side has the
directory tree, the right side shows the folders (when
clicking on a drive) or files (when clicking on a
directory). That's fine so far.

Problem is I have quite a few directories and files that
have quite a few characters in the name. When I name a
file/directory more than 13 digits dot three, the first
13 digits show, follow by four dots; instead of all 13+
digits.

I need all the characters to show for the file/directory
names when I go into Windows Explorer.

I've searched high and low, and can't find the way to set
this up. How can I get the names to show up
automatically in the length I created (most are around 30
digits long), instead of Explorer automatically
shortening them?

THANKS!

So much space in what? I've got the left window at a
minimum, and the right window (where they directories or
files can go full length) at a size that if they were 100
characters long, it would show fine.

Got to be a way to do it. When I create the name, it
shows up in all 30.3 characters. When I close and come
back, it shows a maximum of 13 digits. Got to be a
setting somewhere since it does show it fine until I
close the window.

Hover over it. There's only so much space. It shows all if it can.

If I give it space it shows everything.
