Windows explorer on Vista keeps not responding

I have run every help program out there but there is no soulotions the
problem that im having it doesn't matter what im running windows explorer
just locks up and keeps not responding and i have to end the process and run
it again, i need some help on this please thank you.

my computer specs are:-
P4 3.2
2Gb DDr2 ram
Nvidia Gforce 8400GS 256Mb
Windows Vista Home Basic with SP1
Current system rating of 4.3

You are not alone. We experienced the same thing. Any GUI representation
of windows shell (Network places, Windows Explorer, MyHome(?), any
folder, etc.) stopped right after launching with an error message. Vista
said, that there is a solution and downloaded all the updates available
and said that everything is fine, problem solved, but it was all the
same as before. There was no solution. It is interesting that I written
a Delphi frontend for the shell using VirtualShellTools (1-minute-work)
and everything is OK, running fine. :-(
