I have a folder named 'scanned' on my C: drive. I
open it with Windows Explorer and it contains dozens of
my scanned .jpgs and I see their little thumbnails
(actually pinkie nails) on the right panel, in what
starts out as alphabetic order. But scrolling down, I don't
find Scan1229.jpg up near the rest of the s-names. Is
there a rationale for how Windows Explorer sorts them?
I couldn't find Scan1229.jpg for a long while, until I
scrolled way down past where I figured it should logically
be.
