Frank K.

I want to make Windows Explorer shortcuts that jump to the drive and folder
of my choice like I had with Windows XP. How do I do this?

Thanks

Frank

Hi Frank,

Same way it was done in XP...first create a shortcut to Windows Explorer.
Right-click on the shortcut and choose Properties. Look in the "Target"
window. After the "...explorer.exe" add "/e, c:\users\yourname\myfolder"
(without the quotes). The drive letter and folder path I indicated was just
an example so adjust it to your needs but you must first include the "/e, ".

Thanks. I tried that, but I misspelled the folder name , so it didn't work.
All is well now
