Windows explorer has stopped working

Every time I click 'documents', 'pictures', or 'music' etc, it says 'Windows
explorer has stopped working'...'Windows explorer is re-starting'. and then
gave me a solution, which suggested me to download Performance and
Reliability Pack (KB938979). I tried to download, but it says the system
doesn't support the ungrade. I had validated the copy of windows (Thank you
for using the Windows Genuine Advantage program. You may now access resources
for genuine Windows users.)

Anyone could help me out? Thank you very much.
 
i have the very same problem!
i hope someone can help. i found if i open them by right clicking and
hitting the open button it doesnt happen as much.
