windows explorer has encountered a problem

hi
i cant access any of my documents or anything. the
above error shows up everytime now. it is the same for
internet explorer. every single time. i downloaded
another brouser over a month ago and that is what im
using to get this message out. my media player works
only but i cant access anything else. any help will be
appreciated.
