Windows explorer folder size

Sorry, I know it's not directly hardware related, but all of the windows
specific groups are a little dead/slow.

When you're browsing folders using Explorer, is there a method to enable the
right-hand pane to display folder size? The size column is present, but it
only shows file sizes.

Or is there an alternative to explorer that can do this?

Well, yes. I could do it that way, but I'd like to see the size-on-disk for
all folders in a particular directory.

3rd party file managers will list, usually at the foot of the view, the
size
of an unopened folder. I've never heard of one that does what you want.
http://zabkat.com/ has one.

I also managed to find a 'plug-in' for explorer which gives the folder size
column; FolderSize-2.3.msi. Seems to work well.

do you have a link? thats one of those things I gave up looking for.
