windows explorer file system

When opening Windows Explorer, the path is: C:\Documents and Settings\Dave
K\Start Menu.

How can you change the path to something else, like just C:\ ?

Right click a blank area of the Desktop/New/Shortcut
Paste this in the box:

%windir%\EXPLORER.EXE /e,c:

Right click on the Explorer icon, go to Properties, change it to -

C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe /e, c:\
