At least once a day I get a popup stating, "Windows Explorer has encountered
a problem and needs to close." It always involves shlwapi.dll. I renamed
the file shlwapi_old.dll and replaced the original file with a newly
downloaded version in: c:\windows\ie7, c:\windows\system32,
c:\windows\service pack files\i386, and c:\windows\system32\dllcache, but
the problem persists. The problem usually occurs when I run Start>Search
(but not every time), but can occur at other times also. Does anybody have
any thoughts or suggestions about eliminating this problem?
