Windows Explorer Copying Files

I just upgraded from Windows 98 to Windows XP. One thing that I noticed is that Windows Explorer in XP no longer ask me if I want to replace an existing file in a copy and paste, as it did in 98, it just copies over the file.

Question: Is there an option in Windows Explorer that will ask for confirmation before replacing an existing file? I have looked through every option in Explorer and am unable to find it.

That's something never happened to me. I am using Windows XP but it asks
whether to replace the file if a file with the same name is already there.
If you don't get a Confirmation dialog box when deleting, that may be
because: in Recycle Bin Properties, you have unchecked Display Delete
Confirmation Dialog
