Any time I right-click on a drive in Windows Explorer and
choose "Properties" I get a BSOD and must reboot the
computer. I'm running Windows XP sp1 and not sure what I
loaded that caused this or even how long ago, so I don't
want to go trying restore points. Anyone know a solution
or direction to look to solve this?

Chris, see if you can run a System File Check. Start>Run type: sfc
/scannow have the winxp cd in the cdrom drive.

if you are still having problems go to system config utility by clicking on the start menu select run and type in msconfig. once in the utility start your comuter in diagnostic mode then go back to utility and press help this will show you how to isolate the file thats causing the problem
