I have XP home edition and recently after logging off on
the internet there has been a problem with both windows
explorer and internet explorer. The problem is that when
I double click any icon a message comes up telling me
that windows explorer or internet explorer has had to
close. This mean that I cannot get into my control panel,
my computer, and many document files. However, I can get
onto the internet using MSN explorer as the 'has to
close' message does not appear. Also, I seem to be able to
pick up my emails.

Any help would be greatfully appreciated

Hi,

It is possible that your PC has been infected by virus(s).
If you can go on-line, go to symantec.com to have an on-line security check.
