Tx for reply. Vista newbie and one of things couldn't
find definitive answer to via google searches & vista forums.

Did you try F11 key?

In Internet Explorer 7, you can use the "NoNavBar" registry value to disable
the Address bar.
(This also removes the Navigation arrows.)

For a "Per User" setting, the value is located in the following key:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Toolbars\Restrictions]

Value name: NoNavBar
Value Type: DWORD
Data: 0x00000001

For a "Per Machine" setting, the value is located in the following key:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Toolbars\Restrictions]

Value name: NoNavBar
Value Type: DWORD
Data: 0x00000001

Or,
Tools->Internet Options->Security tab
Click Internet, then Custom Level
Scroll down to Miscellaneous
Scroll down to
"Allow websites to open windows without address or status bars"

I'm referring to Vista's Windows Explorer Address Bar that
has green colour moving across it when open and not IE 7 address bar.
