windows explore

is there a way to make the default setting for windows
explore so that when you view a drive or folder that the
default is "list" rather than icons.

Press the big "folders" button on the menu bar. I think
if you leave it in the folders view, it will reappear
that way the next time you access Windows Explorer. You
can always go back by pressing it again.
