Windows explore toolbar unavailable

When I click on Start-Explore the Explore comes up with no
toolbar. All I see in the grey area, about 1/4 to 3/8
wide, is the word "Folders" on the left and the "X" on the
right to close explore. When I right click in this grey
area I only have the option to "close Toolbar" which
nothing is displaying on. Somehow my toolbar accesibility
has been eliminated. What do I need to do to get this back.

Repair IE and do not use right-click on Start button when all you want is to
run WE.

Can you give me a little more info. Does WE depend on IE?
I did not think IE would control how WE functions. If I
did not have internet access how would I repair this. I am
not sure why not to right click since this is a standard
shortcut for WE. Let me know if we are talking about the
same thing and thanks again for responding.

If I got you right, the Windows Explorer opens without any menu and
toolbars: you cannot see neither File, Edit, View... nor buttons nor Address
bar nor right pane nor Folders tree itself.
Create additional account and login using this account. If the problem would
disappear, rename your original profile, and login as usual.
If the problem persists, check spyware, run 'sfc /scannow'. If it won't
help, repair IE.

How to Reinstall or Repair Internet Explorer and Outlook Express

You can create shortcut to explorer.exe as 'explorer.exe /e,c:\' or any path
you want to be opened, and put it in QuickLaunch bar. The best way is
blindly and boldly hitting Win+E combination (you do underuse your left
hand, don't you? :o)

Sorry, I reread your reply and everything is correct in
what you stated except that I do see my right and left
pane along with the folders. Now, as I just clicked on
Explore, it displays fine. Don't know why, but it works
now. Thanks again for all the help.
