windows explore 10 windows in 1

I hate restoring things.

I thought I had explorer fixed or at least working yesterday. Now I have 10
Internet explorer windows, and can't open a NEW window. they all wind up on
this same pullup.

I tried the toggle reuse windows for launching shortcuts. both ways. Can't get
a new window at all..

What am I missing ?

Husky, if I understand you correctly, you cannot see individual buttons on
the taskbar for each instance of IE. If this is the case:
Control Panel
Taskbar and Start Menu
Taskbar tab
UNCHECK "Group similar taskbar buttons"
