8600gt running sli. when windows installed it tested the proformance and
rated my graphics at 1. that sucks. but i have my drivers installed and sli
inabled now. when i go to see what it is now. it tell me that i new hardware
detect need to be refreshed . so i tell it to do that. it runs through it
fine. goes back to the other screen still saying the same thing. i tried a
couple times with some different drivers. im not sure what to do. please help.

Take a look in your display properties / advanced and see if your 3d stuff
is enabled or not. You should certainly get a much better score than that -
I had 2.4 on my nVidia 6150 (laptop) and boosted it to 3.1 by tweaking the
3d settings...

Are you running nVidia's latest driver of the week?

If you still get a 1, yet everything graphic is reasonably fast, maybe
there's a bug where it can't handle dual SLI boards or something...maybe
pull one board and see if that's better.

I had the same problem with my PNY 8800GTS until I downloaded the newest
nVidia beta driver, and made it the first driver installed after a fresh
install of Vista.

Lately the bleeding edge seems to be more bleeding than edge.
