My computer crashed a couple of days ago. I have an HP that is supposed to
have the system recovery within itself so supposively there was no need for
XP cd's. When I start up my computer it takes me to the windows screen then
displays an error that says there is a corrupt or missing system32 config
file. I am able to access my system recovery, but it does not fix the
problem. I can't get any help from HP or the place I bought my computer. I
was wondering first if there was any possilbe way of fixing this? My
understanding is that is has something to do with a registery file. My other
question is if I were to buy an upgrade would that correct the problem. I
don't have much money especially to spend on things that "may" work, and
aren't returnable once it is opened. I'm a college student, and I have
online classes that I need to attend to! I am desperate for help!!!! Any
help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks Tina
