Windows error checking

Hi All,
I have tried using Windows error checking, but fond that it does not
show me a log of some type at the end of a scan. Is their any software
that does a better job than windows error checking. Thanks
 
What type of checking are you trying to do? Hard drive error checking?
Memory error checking? File error checking?
