Windows XP Windows does nt recognize this MIME type

I m trying to download a file with custom mime type. In IE6 downloading is coming properly. But in IE7 its saying

MIME Type:test/silverback-export
Description:Unknown
Windows does not recognize this MIME type.

any pointers?
