My kids have an IBM desktop system with Windows XP Home Edition.
Last night they were playing a game and somehow hit some wrong keys. Now
the display has rotated 90 degrees to the right. How can I fix it?
I've tried checking all the properties and display options and can find
nothing relating to the screen orientation.

Try this:

Right click the Desktop, select Properties>Settings>Advanced. See if there
is a setting in there to rotate the screen back to normal. If you have
Nvidia software installed try clicking on the tab for your graphics card and
have a look for NVRotate on the left hand side.

If you do have an Nvidia card there may be an icon in the Notification Area.
If so, right click on it, select Rotation Settings and then set it to 0
degrees

It depends on your video card, not Windows, but try Ctrl-Alt-Up Arrow (or
sometimes Ctrl-Shift-R).

instructions but couldn't find anything that would allow me to set the
graphics orientation. I appreciate your help.
