Moshe Dalman

Can not install updates - get an error that the installer can not read from
temporary files.

Any idea what to do?

My Windows defender stopped installing updates after I uses System
Restore. I uninstalled it and re-installed it (from exactly the same
download as it happens, I save all program downloads in case I need them
again) and the problem went away. There's not much to lose by doing a
re-install.
