The following file prevents the User Profile Hive from unloading if I
understand correctly what the Event Viewer is showing. What may I do about it
to allow a quicker unimpeded shutdown of the computer? Thanks for any help
you may provide.

You misunderstand the User Profile Hive Cleanup. Read the ReadMe file to
understand what it does.

I would describe it in this post, but I would just be repeating what the
ReadMe file explains, and it probably explains it better.
