Hi

I had installed the first edition of Windows Defender and when the updated
version came out and I tried to install it. I was advised to uninstall the
version on my machine before installing the new version. This I did but
unfortunately it left some files behind which I tried to uninstall by hand,
I deleted all but MpShHook.dll which will not delete thus I am unable to
install the new version.

Can anyone assist me in force deleting this file?

Please post in one of the newsgroups specifically set up for the Windows
