i HAVE INSTALLED DEFENDER BUT I GET THE MESSAGE UNABLE TO UPDATE DEFINITION:
0x8024502d. Can anyone help? I tried the resolution process posted by
microsoft but it failed to fix it.

wWhat worked for me was to go to Windows Update and download the Root
Certificates update and then redownload defenders definition file, that
seemed to do the trick. I know it doesnt seem like the right thing to update
to get defender to accept its update but it works
