Windows Defender updates

Hi There,
WD keeps telling me that it is out of date, but when I update it either from
Windows Update Site, or from the app. itself, it says" update successful",but
the app still keeps telling me that it is out of date.
Also, it keeps downloading the same update time and time again(KB 915597)
even though it tells me that it has been successfully installed.
Anyone got any ideas?
