Hi, has anyone noticed if the Dec 22 update to Windows Defender somehow
disabled Adobe Flash Player? My Flash Player (v9) was working fine during
the day on Dec 22. The last thing I did before shutting down my PC was to
hit Windows Update, which pulled down the update to Windows Defender. I
installed it and shut down. I was then gone until Dec 27. On Dec 28, I
booted my PC and tried to visit several sites that use Flash Player - all of
them told me I needed to reload Flash Player. Unfortunately, by following
troubleshooting guidance from Adobe, I've crashed my PC and I'm building a
new hard drive from scratch at the present. I'm certain that I installed no
other software since the normal Windows Update Patch Tuesday (2nd Tuesday of
the month), and I'm also certain my Flash Player worked fine since that Patch
Tuesday. The only thing I added was the Windows Defender update on the
evening of Dec 22. I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this. Regards
