I have this version and wonder why I am being asked to update and directed to
a page offering to download WD Beta 2 which I have????
 
What is "I have this version" WD version and or Engine version and or
Definition version?

Check in the Help About to check the 3 version.

Maybe you need version 1347.

Yes, go ahead to the site and download.

After reboot, check the versions again.

On that seven-character validation code: is that "My" MS code or
just something temporary for this operation?
