windows defender ram usage?

I may be totally `off base here` but I don`t think you should look at WD in
terms of RAM usage since the demands on RAM will be dependant on what is
happening on your system at the time you invoke WD. CPU usage will be high
(like any other AS package) when you select the `complete` or full scan
option.

The general consensus of opinion seems to be `quick scan` weekly and then an
`in depth scan` say monthly.

It doesn't take very long to install Windows Defender. Then perform your own
resource analysis.
